One of the Earliest GPT Creators Grew to More Than $10K per Month

When OpenAI first introduced GPT creation, there was a two month period before the App Store launched. During that time, millions of people built their own GPTs. By the time the Store officially opened, OpenAI announced that more than 3 million GPTs existed. Most were experimental or one off ideas.

This approach allowed them to appear in almost any search query that a user might type. They captured attention by being early and by covering a wide range of problems instead of focusing on a single niche.
